Leslie Smart Jr

Leslie Smart is an Atlanta native. He has over ten years of experience in patient care in a healthcare setting. Leslie graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in business administration. Following graduation he received a graduate degree in Exercise Science from Georgia State University.

Brianna Dennis

Brianna is a Georgia native who graduated from Rockdale County High School in Conyers, Georgia. Brianna was very active during her high school years as a 4-year Varsity player in basketball and volleyball. Though basketball was her first love, she chose to pursue a volleyball scholarship from Savannah State University for two years as a Biology major. Unfortunately, she was unable to continue with volleyball due to an injury that ended her career.

Rashaad Sabur

Rashaad Sabur is a native from Atlanta, Georgia. He recently graduated from Georgia State University with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. He was nominated on the Dean’s List in 2016. While in college, Rashaad was a member of the M.U.S.C.L.E.S program (Moving University Students Closer to Leadership in Exercise Science).

Johnnise L. Chisholm

Johnnise is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education and Healthcare Management. She has over 16 years of customer service, she has worked in the healthcare field for the past 8 years. After graduating in May 2007, she started working in healthcare retail management in the Metro Atlanta area. In 2012, she transitioned to the medical office administration.

Alicia Blanton

Alicia Blanton is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a recent graduate of Georgia State University with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. She was selected as a 2015-2016 Who’s Who Recipient. While in college, Alicia was a member of the M.U.S.C.L.E.S program (Moving University Students Closer to Leadership in Exercise Science). She has been volunteering for Genesis since the spring of 2014. During the summer of 2015, she was afforded an internship with Genesis.

Malik Cooper

Malik Cooper, PTA, is a native of Decatur, Georgia. He began his college career at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, majoring in Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Malik decided to work as an after-school program director at Snapfinger Elementary School. After several years, he decided to return to school, and further his education by enrolling in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Atlanta Technical College. In May of 2015, Malik graduated from Atlanta Technical College as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, where he served as the class President of the sophomore class.

Aseelah El-Amin

Aseelah El-Amin, PTA is a native of Washington, D.C., but grew up in East Point, Georgia. She began her college career at the University of Florida, where she played point guard for the Lady Gators basketball team. After transferring to Georgia State University, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Aseelah worked as an Exercise Physiologist, and ran a successful personal training business as an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer for several years before deciding to return to school for physical therapy.

Dr. Erica D. Franks

Dr. Erica D. Franks PT, DPT, OCS, Cert DN, CKTP is a native of Atlanta, GA and has been practicing in the Atlanta/South Metro area since 2008. Erica earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2008. In 2005, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science-Pre-Physical Therapy, and Minor in Dance Arts from Howard University in Washington, DC. Erica is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association/Orthopedics Section and the American Academy of Physical Therapy. She is a board-certified Orthopedics Certified Specialist (OCS).
