Dr. M. Bianca Tyson

Dr. M. Bianca Tyson, a native of Atlanta, GA, is a recent graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in April 2016. She was a Track and Field athlete, beginning her athletic career at Westlake High School on the Varsity Track and Field team. She later went off to compete in AAU, USA, and the junior Olympics. At the end of her Senior year, she was the State Champion in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.

She obtained a 4-year scholarship to the University of Kentucky for track and field. She competed in the SEC 2008 indoor meet and won a silver medal in the distance medley where she ran the 400-m leg. She then transferred to Georgia State University where she continued her journey as a Track and Field athlete and scholar.

Prior to her post-graduate education, Bianca attained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science from Georgia State University. She recently became certified in Kinesio taping. Bianca completed her Internship in Exercise Science with Genesis Sports Medicine in the Spring of 2011. After graduation, she joined the Genesis Family in August 2016.
