Aseelah El-Amin

Aseelah El-Amin, PTA is a native of Washington, D.C., but grew up in East Point, Georgia. She began her college career at the University of Florida, where she played point guard for the Lady Gators basketball team. After transferring to Georgia State University, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Aseelah worked as an Exercise Physiologist, and ran a successful personal training business as an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer for several years before deciding to return to school for physical therapy. She earned her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May, 2014 from Atlanta Technical College, where she served as President of the Inaugural class.

In her spare time, Aseelah enjoys being a soccer and basketball mom to her son and daughter. She also enjoys playing tennis, listening to house music and poetry, and spending time with family and good friends. Aseelah has a passion for helping people and is grateful for the opportunity to join the Genesis family.

Aseelah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia, and the National Technical Honor Society. She is also certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR through the American Heart Association, and is working towards becoming a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP).
Aseelah completed her long term clinical assignment with Genesis Sports Medicine in the spring semester of 2014, and immediately joined the family upon graduation.
